Description

The light blade appears to emanate from the concrete – when it’s off, it disappears. No artifice, just a cut in the concrete with brutal and magic inspiration: actually a technical prodigy, directly cast into the concrete, the product of sophisticated and hidden genius fusing architecture and light in a natural way.

Statement of the jury

The GHOST VERTICAL is an interesting lighting concept, one that does not require a formed luminaire of its own. Instead, the lighting elements are ingeniously incorporated into the building wall. This results in indirect and incredibly elegant light that appears to be streaming out of the concrete.
