Description

The park sculpture was installed in 2015 at the United World College in Dilijan Armenia. The cube shaped sculpture consist of 60 % Jurassic marble and 40 % Boxwood. Size: 1.3 x 1.3 x 1.3 m. A shifted cut through space separates the materials. The maximum minimalistic stone-plant-sculpture is the European version of a Japanese Zen garden. Bruns Pflanzenexport and Franken Schotter Quarries wanted to show how their product work together.


Statement of the jury

An exciting project that combines natural opposites – rocks and plants, inorganic material and living beings – into an artistically sophisticated sculpture.
