Haddad Compound

Haddad Compound

Description

In a 40,000 sqm plot of mostly forest land in St-Adele, Canada, the Haddad family chose to create a gathering space through the concept of an exploded house in an existing forested environment. A master plan was designed according to the grid and nature of the trees, empowering the users and giving them the liberty to create their own scenarios in multiples structures and volumes – structures with diverse materials, scales and heights which are in constant dialogue with the forest.
