House of Switzerland
Description
The House of Switzerland is a mobile pavilion, diplomatically representing Switzerland abroad. Built from wood, it showcases both traditional and contemporary timber engineering. Four radially arranged and interconnected volumes span an inner courtyard. Red lashing straps create the illusion of stacks of wood. This image defines the concept. It is illustrative of Switzerland, consisting of different regions and national languages.
