The award for excellent design

The German Design Award stands for excellent design - international and renowned. Since 2012, a large jury of experts has been deliberating and deciding from several thousand submissions from over 45 countries every year in a multi-stage process! What is Excellent Design? We believe that design can change the world!

How can the sustainable transformation of our industry and society succeed? What new ways of thinking, materials and economic models are needed to achieve this goal?

Today more than ever, outstanding design means providing answers to the challenges of our time, promoting thinking in circular models and realising visions of a better world based on the design of actions. Sometimes it is only small changes or ideas that have a big impact, sometimes it is entire business models. The top-class international jury of the German Design Award honours these groundbreaking design achievements - and the German Design Award makes the design trends visible across all sectors in a glittering setting.

Be there and present your performance!

Public Choice Winner: Creative Rebels

NFT Collection

Public Choice 2023

The Kochstrasse Brand Agency wants to support people from crisis areas and has initiated a fascinating benefit project for this purpose with the "Creative Rebels NFT Collection", in which young creatives were called upon to mine 9595 NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). The basis is a multi-gender character that stands for creativity, freedom, design and equality. Mining creates a unique piece of digital art that cannot be changed or reproduced once stored on the blockchain, which significantly increases its value. In this way, a creative variety of illustrations was created that impresses and touches emotionally at the same time.
