"For the 8th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, Zak Group designed a striking image. The central element of the design is two round brackets that together form half an eight, representing an iconic symbol that references the 8th reprise of the Berlin Biennale and apart again serve as brackets. Zak Group’s brief covered the image, the website, the brief guide, the guidance system, the posters and other printed matter. A brand design that is as simple as it is striking, boasts an impressively high recognition value, stands out clearly in its urban surroundings and still finds the right balance without being too raucous. A masterful solution."
