Ankerkraut-Tee-Range

Description

A range of tea packaging was developed for Ankerkraut. The jars are equipped with front and lid labels. The label design uses illustrations that combine the maritime world of Ankerkraut with a tea world. Each of the seven different kinds of tea tells a little story: A sailer peeks out of a teapot, a crab enjoys its tea time or a teapot sets sail and gets grabbed by a gigantic octopus. To support the character of the series, a colour code was assigned to the tea range.

Statement of the jury

The maritime motifs (which intriguingly evoke 19th-century illustrations) along with the colour-coded sails, make the products distinctive and give the brand an identity all its own.
