L’ECOLE – School of Jewelry Arts, supported by Van Cleef & Arpels

VCA requested LI&Co to create a comprehensive branding for L’ÉCOLE Nomade beginning in HK, capturing the essence of L’ECOLE in Paris with a touch of local éclat when abroad. Classical Chinese gardens inspired the layout with creative reflections, an evocative fish pond, a boat-like bar and bamboo mesh screens all pulled together to create the illusion of a fairy tale. Bamboo was selected as the medium to indicate the soul und virtue of Hong Kong. The look is ancient yet so modern without Asian clichés.

Statement of the jury

The interior of this Hong Kong jewellery school combines the designs of Paris furnishings and the characteristic elements of local culture into a new and striking interior that is carried over into all areas of the school.
