Hilton Istanbul Bomonti International Hotel & Conference Center

Description

The project is located in the Bomonti Beer Factory site in Istanbul, one of the most important industrial heritage sites. The Old Brewery building has been renovated, and is designed for use as private offices, entertainment and commercial events. Due to site restrictions, the Hotel and Convention Centre on the ground floor is arranged over 34 floors of 149,50 m with seven basement levels below. The sloping site allowed a direct service entrance from the main road.

Statement of the jury

This imposing hotel complex is composed of a modern three-wing high rise and a conference and convention centre that has been realised in a tastefully renovated former brewery. This beautifully executed concept creates an exciting contrast between clean, modern architectural design and historical architecture.
