Vimagua

Description

Vimagua is a reusable, eco-friendly, 100 % recyclable and lightweight water bottle, created to be offered to the local school communities. It’s much more than a bottle, it’s a mission to promote the consumption of tap water and raise awareness among youth, on the importance of water to health and the environment. The design, inspired by a water droplet and the water surface ripple effect, it is ergonomic for children and is meant to fit into a small lunch bag. The 450 ml PET bottle weighs 25 g.

Statement of the jury

This contemporary, ergonomic and child-friendly packaging made from robust recycled plastic ideally lends itself to being topped off from a tap and to being taken to school. It was an excellent idea to instil kids with enthusiasm for drinking water as an appealing and healthy foodstuff.
