Rilke und Russland

Rilke und Russland

Description

The travelling exhibition Rilke and Russia at German Literature Archive shows the significance of Rainer Maria Rilke’s decades long relation with Russia. The first picture of the exhibition is a birch forest that turns out to be a culmination of landscape and poetry. It mirrors Rilke’s inspirational and emotional orientation that is deeply rooted in his experience of nature. With its collaged tableaux, the exhibition design encourages associative connections and free movement in the space.
