kreaB – Tour de Création

Description

The association kreaB was formed in 2016 as a grassroots advocacy organization for the creative sector in Basel. The creative industry in Basel is grouped into 13 sub-sectors. The logo integrates the number 13 by forming the capital “B” with the digits “1” and “3”. The visual language used throughout the Tour de Création event plays on the different themes of the contributing sub-sectors: objects attributed to the work of different ateliers are conjoined, yet kept distinctive through different colours.


Statement of the jury

By dint of its green and red overlapping elements, this design is eminently eye-catching and recognisable. A lovely detail here is the letter “B” that has been fashioned out of the numbers 1 and 3.
