Go With the Scripts

Description

When we trace back the origins of a film it always comes to “the script”. A pile of paper can work magic on films. At the initial stage of designing, sketches and drafts also happen on paper. Leveraging this to our design concept of this cinema, the team wanted to draft a script and cast it into the interior space available. We imagined a script being thrown into the air, papers forming mesmerizing curves that open a pathway for the audience to wander into a world of films.

Statement of the jury

This design transposes the look of the pages of a loosely rolled up movie script into a fascinating ceiling design. A fantastic solution.
