The Curiosity Hub is the online home to #catchcurious – a global initiative from Merck to promote increased curiosity among science and technology audiences. A collection of interactive experiences, the site invites B2B audiences to embark on a 3D journey to generate a personal curiosity profile. With 3.2 million page views and over 50,000 curiosity profiles in its first five months, the site continues to keep visitors curious.


Statement of the jury

Merck’s purpose in creating this ground-breaking portal – an appealing and lively micro-site realised in a striking corporate design – is to tap into its employees’ innate curiosity. This goal has been impressively achieved by means of striking games and exciting self-tests, supported by films and promotional material.
