Description

Bellfugio are pet homes the walls of which protect dogs from electromagnetic waves in rooms and offices. The object shown comprises three layers: 1. Metal frame, which makes the design. 2. Fine metal mesh, which is suitable for shielding against electromagnetic Radiation. 3. Mesh in polyrattan. The entry is just big enough for the dog to come inside. A snail shell, as a place of retreat, is what gave me inspiration for this design. The name Bellfugio is a composition of “belle” for the pretty things and refugium – a place for recharging one’s batteries.

Statement of the jury

This stylish pet furniture with its elegant rattan design harmonises well with every ambiance. Dogs enjoy withdrawing to this dog basket, which is completely enclosed except for the entry, as it not only gives them a feeling of security but also protects them from electrosmog.
