Pioli

Description

A product uniting classic and modern just as a ladder’s rungs – pioli – link two different levels. Two carbon steel rails extending 207 cm are the supports to which the rectangular section “ladder rungs” are attached in an unconventional way. Grouped into three 40 or 50 cm elements they give a touch of flair and eclectic style to a room. Pioli’s essential uniqueness is highlighted by black or white but it is also available in more than 200 colour variants from the Antrax IT sample range.

Statement of the jury

The Pioli radiator is reminiscent of a simple ladder and is leaned as such against the wall. The rails serve as a towel rack. An interesting design that manages to transfer the traditional design idiom of a well-known product to a new area of application.
