BIO diversum – Education center

Description

Hosted in an iconic architectural building, perfectly integrated in extraordinary natural surroundings with a large variety of wild birds, the Biodiversum offers a world of experience. Various visualisation tools present a very large amount of data, visual intelligence replaces a majority of textual information. Illustrations are all based on geometrical forms and are completed by dynamic drawings, slight abstractions and organic effects in order to create an calm minimalistic layout.

Statement of the jury

This dome-like main hall with its striking honeycomb design echoes the form of the superbly executed informational signs. The exhibits installed in the space can be viewed from all sides. The use of wood cladding throughout creates a natural-feeling atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.
