Save My Speech Forever

Description
The documentary Keep My Words Forever tells a story of the poet Osip Mandelshtam. His rebellious spirit challenged the Soviet authorities, he was arrested and died in a transit camp in 1938. As a part of the movie promotional campaign, we designed series of promotional editorial illustrations containing 21 of Mandelshtam’s poems. Graphic style of the illustrations embraces artistic methods widely used by the Orthodox icon painters. Later these techniques were rediscovered by the avant-garde artists.
