Description

Close to the inner-city of Regensburg, a single-family house for a family with five children was built on two above-ground floors. The façade clearly reflects the internal division of the building into the ground-floor for public use and the private rooms arranged on the upper floor. On the ground floor, the building faces outwards with a dark striped trim in a narrow stretched format and on the upper floor with a fine, bright plaster.

Statement of the jury

The minimalist design of this single-family dwelling is carried over to its interior, thus endowing the house with an extremely high quality and contemporary appearance.
