Jeepers Creepers, Lochsessel

Jeepers Creepers, Lochsessel

Description

Creating new from old is the ideal form of contemporary consumerism. The best example of achieving maximum aesthetic values with minimum use of resources is the armchair with holes, Jeepers Creepers. The body of a tatty old armchair from the fifties forms the basis for a new design for that comfortable seating furniture. The openings in the backrest seem to provide an insight simultaneously into the past and the future, while the person seated is able to be utterly in the here and now.
