Tubus

Description

TUBUS is a system of lights in glass tubes. The tubes have a diameter of only 32 mm. TUBUS offers a look of total transparency. But there is more behind it. It includes clever optics which make glare impossible. The leds are working directly with 230v. No transformers on the ceiling are needed. Just one cable with line voltage is enough. The power is transfered to the next element. It can be dimmed with standard phase-cut dimmers and the light even gets warmer as you do this.

Statement of the jury

The transparent glass tube of these luminaires creates very pleasant general lighting. Likewise laudable is the tube’s winningly light, high-quality and very elegant aesthetics – elements whose effects become more intense as the number of luminaires is increased. Another great feature is that the luminaires do not need a transformer to be plugged in at home.
