Hamami – Give A Smile

Hamami – Give A Smile

Description

Hamami means »Give A Smile« in Gbaya – a language from the north of Cameroon. It is a public charity to help people in West Africa with cleft lip, jaw or palate, congenital facial deformities, NOMA and thyroid disease. Hamami already accompanies the patients from before the medical intervention until recovery. That’s special. A travel diary describes this path and the effect of a donation. For a smile, for a chance – for a life.

Statement of the jury

A grinning mouth as a symbol of the Hamami – Give A Smile campaign translates the campaign’s layered message into a simple key visual that is friendly, catchy, internationally understandable and highly recognisable. A strong campaign for a good cause.
