Stage 12 – Hotel by Penz
Description
A modern city hotel has opened in the centre of Innsbruck on the site of a former theatre. The new identity aims to convey, not only visually but also verbally, the hotel’s special location on Innsbruck’s main shopping street, as well as its international flair. We want to make the hotel an urban stage. This core idea is reflected in all printed media and advertising material. We have replaced the typical Tyrolean clichés and local tourism messages with an international design language.
Statement of the jury
This design reflects the hotel’s emphasis on modernity, high-quality stays, and regional roots across the entire corporate design, and does so plausibly, authentically and lucidly, down to the last detail.
