Dynamic Planet – Interactive Scientific Poster

Description

The interactive scientific poster Dynamic Planet was designed and developed for the »Focus Earth« exhibition of the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam. One of the main advantages of a digital poster is that it can display dynamic content. This is at the same time the essential statement of the scientific poster Dynamic Planet: our earth never stands still, is permanently shaken by earthquakes. These tensions are visualised in real time in the interactive poster.

Statement of the jury

The interactive poster called »Dynamic Planet« is the first such poster to show, in real time, how the earth is undergoing constant change due to earthquakes. The poster’s elaborate design is as intriguing as it is impressive. An intense visual experience that lingers long in the viewer’s memory.
