MIX is an F&B outlet, newly developed by Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, located in the prime commercial space in Guangzhou, China. The designers have fully unfolded the potential of the limited 50 sqm elongated interior space, to create a high-end luxury »grab-and-go« break out, which conveys Mandarin Oriental’s elegance to every customer. Fresh-coloured vertical stripes extend the surface to create dynamic tension with the space outside the outlet, providing an intriguing atmosphere.

Statement of the jury

Here, a curved design aesthetic and striking stripes create an elegant look and feel with high recognition value. The large ring-shaped lights that underscore the circular design aesthetic are also very beautiful.
