Description

The almost ethereal, exclusive presentation atmosphere of the Swiss fashion house AKRIS is created by the elegant wall of white horsehair, 30 metres in length, which appears to be virtually floating. With a clearly reduced design, the showroom stages ladies’ fashion of the highest quality. A focused understatement that is neither obtrusive nor distracting. The holistic design also incorporates the office space. The attributes of creativity and innovation were granted the highest level of importance.

Statement of the jury

This light, monochrome interior, with its gently curved walls made of horsehair, endows the space with a distinctive identity. What’s more, the decor doesn’t detract from the collections showcased during fashion shows.
