Description

A modern bright working place for students in the heart of the Structuralist University of Constance from the 60/70s years. A new digital library with different uses is created. The themes of the design are shape, colour and light. They are freely and playfully inserted into the striking concrete construction and set special accents as newly developed details. In 2017 the project received the »Hugo Häring Award».

Statement of the jury

It’s fun to see how the design uses form, colour and light to evoke the creative spirit of the 1960s and ’70s in a fresh, contemporary interior in an original and imaginative way.
