Villa Tanit-Astarte, Pula
The plot, with its triangular shape, outlines and forms a shape made of corners and edges which turn into a balance between welcoming and repelling spaces. The result is architecture with an introverted personality that ends at the street with a curtain acting as a protective barrier to the world and extroverted for the inner courtyard. This highlights the intimate area for those who live there, a privatization that consolidates the concept of interiority as the essence of one’s personal life.
A cleverly developed design that builds upon the elementary shape of the triangle and references this design approach throughout the entire object.
