Description

The existing L-wing, designed by Rie Haan in the 1960s, hasn’t been used for several years. Due to the outdated structural and physical properties, the classrooms were no longer suitable for teaching. As the search for an external location did not yield a suitable result, it was decided to proceed with the demolition and renovation of this particular wing.

Statement of the jury

The newly-built building wing integrates very well with the surrounding historical architecture; a very nice concept that exudes effortlessness and modernity.
