Planar house

Description

Planar House is a radical horizontal exercise. Its presence is most strongly felt in the footprint rather than volumetrically. Surrounding the rigid formal distribution there is a vertical winding wall made of solid bricks arranged in solids and voids. The slab is a rigid platform that is supported directly by the pillars, distributed modularly in three axes. The living rooms, at the extremities, can be completely opened by sliding glass doors transforming the entire house into a terrace.
