Description

Conceptual design, editorial and graphic design of the activity report for the Braunschweigische Stiftung. A deep dive into the projects and the work of the foundation in the past five years as well as the perception from outside was necessary to develop a report with its own aesthetics and its own language. It was a project looking into the past and into the future, juggling with numbers and planets, observing bees, holding numerous conversations and carrying armchairs through old villas.

Statement of the jury

With five years of project funding under its belt, the foundation known as the Braunschweigische Stiftung takes stock and presents its work in a sensational report whose form and content are simply outstanding. For this purpose, a special visual system was developed that is deployed consistently throughout the report, but that nevertheless summarises the report’s contents. Even the cover alone is a visual statement unto itself, in that it depicts an abstract sunset that perfectly embodies the guiding idea of the report – namely the end of a day and thus the moment of transition to a new era.
