O Isis und Osiris — Ägyptens Mysterien und die Freimaurerei

Current research has deepened our understanding of the connections between Ancient Egypt, the Freemasonry movement founded in 1717 and Mozart’s Magic Flute. A »mystic« path through the special exhibition at the August Kestner Museum introduces visitors to this quite complicated subject. Viewers actively perceive the spaces and the interplay between content and objects. Decorative elements such as curtains, lighting cubes, wall illustrations and texts make this exhibition an exciting experience.
