Anna Göldi Museum Glarus
The Anna Göldi Museum recounts the fate of the last witch executed in Switzerland. In the timbers of a listed industrial building, raumprodukt created a dark, textile space-within-a-space that unfolds in the historic woodwork and is reflected in the flooring as an Escherian labyrinth. The uneasy feeling created is intentional: visitors pause and think for a moment before they get caught up in the tragic story.
Statement of the jury
The deliberately sombre exhibition design created by the dark curtains generates an oppressive atmosphere that lets visitors experience the historical tragedy even more intensely.
