Glimmer of Gray

Description

By contemplating various states of a great open space through different perspectives, it is as if a cement structure has become a vessel of emotions and feelings, creating a sensory balance where one feels at peace through genuine consideration of daily needs and the local ambience. This project preserves most of the building’s original appearance and subtly assimilates rugged marks with the grain of wood and titanium panels, using natural materials to convey the warmth and compassion of a home.

Statement of the jury

In this exclusive design, grey plays a vital role in different materials, textures and surfaces, and even in the choice of furniture. On the other hand, there are surfaces made of brass and wood, which leads to an exciting contrast, while at the same time allowing the timelessly modern design to appear very harmonious as a whole.
