Neubau Einfamilienwohnhaus in Billigheim-Ingenheim

Neubau Einfamilienwohnhaus in Billigheim-Ingenheim

Description

The building consists of two rectangular staggered structures and a canopy. The rooms on the ground floor form a flowing room continuum, with a fireplace and an exposed concrete wall as a room divider. Seamless floor coverings, flush-fitting doors, skirting boards and flush-mounted windows enhance the clarity of the interior surfaces and geometries. Surface flatness in the interior stands in opposition to plasticity on the outside. The window reveals and the window corners give the building a sculptural effect.

Statement of the jury

The freestanding building presents itself formally and clearly with beautiful details that elegantly underline its clear proportions, such as the canopy that extends across the entirety of the front side, down to the row of windows that runs to the corner. A solid building that looks sophisticated and modern, both inside and out.
