Description

The idea of the rebranding coat of arms and the logo of Ljubljana City is the transformation of the official coat of arms into a modern graphic design that will be noticeable and more memorable with its simple lines. With the change brand we achieved consolidation of identity and strengthening of the city’s visibility, modern design, easier and more modern communication with the citizens of the city, achieving feedback from citizens and influencing the modern development of other city politicians.


Statement of the jury

Through its rebranding the design was made much clearer and more modern in its effect and character. The contrast between the coloured surfaces also attracts a lot of attention. It is ingenious how the dragon breaks up the design as a detached graphic element and reinforces the concept’s identity.
