Description

The importance of the forests for Berlin, adaptability and resilience to climate change are the topics discussed in the exhibition »Wald.Berlin.Klima«. Eleven information islands are placed along a 4 km loop path as forest living rooms. At each station, educational content is presented as text, visual information and spatial installations for different audiences. The stations’ form language presents a contrast to the natural structure of the forest and emphasises the differences between urbanity and landscape.

Statement of the jury

The information islands placed along the pathway cannot be missed thanks to their form and colour markings, attracting curiosity and interest. The information is prepared to suit different target groups in terms of text and imagery. A well-made learning pathway that improves awareness of climate change.
