Frisörladen Breiner

Frisörladen Breiner

Description

The design of the hairdresser combines historical flair, modernity and monument protection. The gender segregation as a reminder of old times was taken up in the concept and achieved by the use of different materials, with the waiting area serving as a link. Traditional materials and historic furniture serve sustainability. The profiling of the customer spaces is reminiscent of the baroque style of the building. The old truss remains visible and zones the areas.

Statement of the jury

The design unites historical elements, modern design and monument protection. Original details such as the half-tables and nostalgic large-format photos lend the ambience warmth and flair and an ironic atmosphere. It’s great how past and present have been merged to form an individual design.
