Description

A challenge during the planning stage was the arrangement of the sports pool in order to achieve extensive synergies between the sports and outdoor pool (technical and organisational). On the other hand, the goal was to keep operating restrictions for the open air pool as low as possible, while also preserving the most excess space possible for subsequent economical use.

Statement of the jury

The generous window fronts allow a maximum of daylight into the interior and also combine the indoor swimming pool optically with the outside installation. A formally clear structure that succeeds very well in combining its functionality with modern aesthetics.
