We designed the Voyager jacket to save the environment for our kids. Made from a single material, it designed to be 100% recyclable and built to last. This kids’ jacket is waterproof and breathable. Each Voyager has a unique ID, which you can register after purchase to follow its journey from one user to the next, all the way to recycling. When the Voyager reaches the end of its life, you can return it to a Reima store so that it can be reborn into new polymers and products.

Statement of the jury

When Reima was established in 1944, not only was the long service life of the products decisive for the company’s success, the subsequent recycling of worn-out clothing items in order to conserve scarce resources played a key role too. To this day, the brand has remained consistently true to its philosophy. This is impressively reflected in the high quality of the Voyager children’s, timeless and functionally thought-out design and a material that can be up to 100% recycled. In addition, every jacket has its own ID number. This makes it possible to track its entire life cycle from first purchase to recycling – even if the jacket changes hands. A fascinating idea, which enhances awareness of sustainability even more.
