Description

The sculptural minimalism of a new concept store. Nestled among little stones houses in the alleys of a small beachside village of Afytos is the new concept store Ficurini where greek designers can showcase their products. Blending in with the scenic setting and the local architecture, the new space is underpinned by a minimal aesthetic.

Statement of the jury

The original playful experimentation with round and square forms, combined with a variety of materials and surfaces, gives the store its own unique identity. Despite its sculptural design language, the interior remains pleasantly discreet and modest, providing the designer’s products the perfect setting to really come into their own.
