Description

urban-K is a bench for anyone who wants to create something special in public spaces. Cities, urban developers, public administrations: the possibilities for using the bench are socially almost unlimited. Formally reduced to the essentials, the design reveals its pure functionality in detail. It is brought into position early in the morning and during the day it offers a new way of interacting before being put back in the shop in the evening. A valuable and personal element is its integrated billboard.

Statement of the jury

The urban-K combines sitting in public spaces with an attractive advertising space. Thanks to its slim, linear design language, it blends harmoniously into many different urban environments and invites you to linger. A clever detail is the integrated castors, which can be conveniently used to move the bench from A to B.
