french balcony – by ipcompany is a façade-integrated glass fall protection, which fits flush into the plane of the outer insulating glazing. Due to the maximum possible span of 3 m, which is approved by the building inspectorate, this results in a French balcony that is unique on the market. Further modifications to the ip sliding door (edgier frame profiles with 1 mm radii, narrow wing views of 90 mm) complete the further development.

Statement of the jury

The flush-fitting fall protection glass on the same level as the outside double glazing ensures a uniform façade. An interesting solution that expands design options for architects, designers and planners.
