MOBYBOX™

Description

The »MOBYBOX™« was developed to rescue patients with life-threatening lung or circulatory failure. For this purpose it can take over the heart or lung function of a patient for a few days up to several weeks. The »MOBYBOX« solely uses pneumatic energy and is the first ECMO device to integrate both blood flow control and gas management in a single device. It requires neither battery, nor software, nor motor, thus significantly reducing size and complexity: safety by intuition.
