Edeka Hundrieser, Essen
Description
Essen as a formerly mining region is a city with defining history. The location of the market in Schönebeck was a colliery location until the 20th century. The design lets the times of the industry come back to life by reinterpreted and modern elements and subtly indicates the cultural roots of the city Essen. The back then used purely functional materials and construction methods of the colliery grounds to create the characteristic and industrial charm through their historical and local character to this day. Material combinations of brick look, matt black refined metal profiles, exposed concrete and copper form a sold basis.
