Description
The construction of an extensive network of mobility stations in Kiel and the region of Kiel facilitates the mixed-mode commuting, provides alternatives to the private car and thus reduce CO2 Emission. The modular system allows to configurate appropriate stations at each location and to meet their specific needs. The timeless and functional design enables a good integration into the respective spatial context.
Statement of the jury
The modular design of the mobility stations looks modern and inviting, is functionally well thought-out and allows numerous configurations and variations to make the use of bicycles, public transport and sharing services even more attractive.
