Muka & Fartuk

Description

Muka & Fartuk is a cozy cafe with breakfasts and a shop with a wide choice of breads, pastries and cakes. The cafe is divided into two zones by the wall, in which openings were made in the form of loaves of bread - little sloping arches. In the interior we paid attention to the textures and factures. STUDIO SHOO used warm tones of plaster, smooth surfaces of furniture and rough walls, terrazzo to create a place for new impressions and experiences.

Statement of the jury

The tasteful combination of warm colours, original design, smooth furniture surfaces and the terrazzo floor creates an inviting atmosphere. The large passageways, which were modelled on the shape of loaves of bread, are a nice touch.
