New Museum of Ethnography, Budapest
The new Museum of Ethnography in Budapest realised as part of the Hungarian State funded development, "Liget Budapest Project".
The dynamic but simple lines of the building harmonizes with the park environment and communicate with the surrounding urban area.
Striking feature of the building is its huge, curved green roof garden. From its highest point the view opening up as a sweeping panorama of the City Park and the capital.
The spectacular hallmark of the building is its unique facade - a glass curtain wall surrounding covered with a raster-structured aluminium mesh grid featuring contemporary adaptation of ethnographic motifs.
