The idea: to offer a spontaneous, haptic DIY experience to the urban, digital target group. The space reflects the brand & the DIY spirit, while being modular at the same time. Statement of the jury

»OBI Machbar« combines a mini DIY store and an event location to create an appealing concept store in Cologne’s city centre. The design cleverly combines the corporate colour with wood as the main material to create an inspiring overall experience that whets the appetite for DIY in the community. A great DIY neighbourhood concept that is fun and connects.
