Boundless Loving Home

Description

The design aims to facilitate family bonding with Japandi interiors that match the owner's simple lifestyle. Combining Scandinavian functionality and Japanese sensibility while using grayscale background colors to balance the warm wood tone, we build a home that adapts to changes. Planning the layout with the idea of space sharing, we create a tea savoring/reading area and an open dining kitchen/writing desk, as the master and second bedroom share a dressing room.

Statement of the jury

»Boundless Loving Home« skilfully blends the purist aesthetics of Japanese design with the cosiness of classic Scandinavian furnishings to create a modern and elegant ambience. The sober grey concrete look of the ceiling and walls and the natural aesthetics of wood complement each other to form a harmonious whole.
